They currently have an excellent career opportunity for a confident and self-driven Marketing Assistant to join their sales team.
Reporting to the Marketing Manager, the successful candidate will take ownership of:
- The overall operations of the tasting room, including tastings, sales and stocktakes.
- Coordinating and executing wine events, functions and special promotions.
- Actively growing the market through weekly trade visits and developing innovative ideas.
- Processing daily sales and shipping of orders.
- Managing merchandise displays to ensure pleasing appearance and accurate pricing.
- Ensuring excellent guest experiences and growing the VIP membership.

To ensure success in this role, the following is required:
- At least 5 years experience in a similar position in the wine industry.
- In-depth knowledge of wine will be advantageous.
- Ability to achieve sales targets and promote growth.
- A professional appearance and communication style.
- Valid driver's license and own, reliable transport.
- Ability to work two Saturdays per month and public holidays on occasion.
Salary scale: R15 000 - R20 000, supplemented by a generous commission scheme.
