Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the monthly preparation of the Group’s financial and management reports, ensuring their timely submission to the management.
- Lead the quarterly preparation of consolidated financial reports, meticulously adhering to financial reporting standards, local statutory guidelines, and SGX listing requirements.
- Conduct a detailed review of accounts for subsidiaries, associates, and joint ventures to guarantee compliance with financial reporting standards and internal policies.
- Ensure precise and timely recording of accounting transactions, coupled with the preparation of insightful management reports.
- Collaborate with subsidiaries/associates/joint ventures, addressing data requests and queries in a proactive manner.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of quarterly GST submissions to uphold compliance standards.
- Play a crucial role in the preparation of annual budgets, engaging in strategic planning and thorough analysis of reports, while actively tracking actual performance against budgets.
- Collaborate seamlessly with auditors and tax agents on financial and tax matters.
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance; ACCA/ISCA certificate is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, with an advantageous background in SGX reporting.
- Demonstrate fluency in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS).
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of new regulations and accounting standards.
- Showcase strong computer literacy, particularly in MS Office, with an emphasis on MS Excel proficiency.
- Exhibit experience in using consolidation software, underlining technical expertise.
- Display robust data analytical skills that contribute to insightful decision-making.
