Summary
NFL Media is currently looking for a freelance Post Production Assistant to work in our Media Management and Post Production group at our new West Coast Headquarters in Inglewood, CA. Candidate must have 1-2 years of previous experience working in a live broadcast or post production environment.

Responsibilities
- Media Management support for file naming and metadata tagging within our media asset management system
- NFL Game logging using our EVS Logging tool. Going through current game footage and tagging plays and players and applying metadata to allow for enhanced searches
- Transcribing press conferences and interviews
- Assistant Editing duties as needed within Adobe Premiere
- Creation of ingest placeholders for daily remote and studio feeds
- Videotape digitization support, converting physical videotapes into digital files
Required Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of the NFL and College football (team rosters and league activity)
- Attention to detail with the ability to accurately spell player’s names
- Demonstrated experience with current post production software such as Adobe Premiere CC 2020
- Fluency with all Microsoft Office software applications
- Familiarity with cloud-based file sharing services, such as AWS, Google Cloud, Dropbox and Frame.io
- Possess excellent communications skills that allow for highly productive workflows between the editorial and production departments
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree or certifications preferred

- Adhere to all facility SOPs and existing workflows to execute numerous daily tasks
- Ability to learn new technology and workflows, as well as provide training and guidance to others working within the broadcast facility
- Possess excellent communications skills that allow for highly productive workflows between the editorial and production departments
- Ability to make decisions independently and escalate issues to upper management when necessary
Salary / Pay Range

Terms / Expected Hours of Work
- 24/7 broadcast facility, so shifts can be scheduled on weekend hours and holidays. Candidate must have a flexible schedule and be able to work off-hour shifts when needed.
- Part-time role, under 30 hours/week
