To strengthen our research & development we are now looking for skilled software engineers for our back-end development teams. You will be working on our core server components responsible for controlling playout of graphics and other media, primarily for the live TV production in the broadcast industry. You will work together with an international team of developers producing software which will be used by most major broadcaster around the globe. You will start out in the Media Sequencer team developing a core server component controlling play-out and authoring of graphics, video and other media for live TV production.
You will identify bottlenecks and bugs and find smart ways to remove them. You will participate in design and implementation of new functionality. The overall responsibility is to deliver high quality solutions and your contribution will be crucial to meet our customer requirements in the best possible manner. In the Media Sequencer team we mainly build our software using modern C++ and Python, but we are also using some tooling built on Javascript.
Requirements

- Bachelor`s degree in computer science or equivalent skills and experience
- Have a genuine interest in software development and an eye for API design
- A strong background in object oriented design and good experience with a high-level object oriented language like C#, Java or C++
- Experience with either modern C++ or C# - or be able to easily pick up a new language
- Be well versed in data structures and algorithms.
- Experience with automated testing
- Fluency in written and spoken English
- Good communication and team-working skills
