We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team.
In this role, you will:
To develop basic knowledge and skills through training in the areas of HSBC’s organisational structure, banking systems, WPB products and soft skills, and to obtain the necessary accreditations.
Maximise job rotation to become familiar with WPB structure, products and services, how different teams interact, and accumulate a wide range and depth of relevant knowledge as FTA.
The below job rotation plan aims to provide FTA broad experience which is an important factor in the profile of successful PROs.
1st 6 month – Teller and /or Customer Development Officer
2nd 6 month – Premier Relationship Assistant and Advance Officer-Full Licensed

Customer Development Representative
To proactively generate, follow-up and convert sales leads, and open account from the channels of X-referral and Walk-in customers so as to contribute to the achievement of Bank’s business strategic objectives. To ensure a high standard of professionalism being practiced during communication with potential customers.

Premier Relationship Assistant
To provide dedicated support to a team of Premier Relationship Managers in the overall achievement of their income plans (covering acquisition, cross sales, retention, and growth of their portfolios) and day to day contact with their clients in the delivery of the proposition objectives.
This role is a key relationship support role created to provide an outstanding customer experience to the valuable Premier clients.

Advance Officer-Full Licensed
To acquire new advance customers, cross sell other WPB products and services and refer to specialist areas where required (including Premier RM’s where potential upgrades to Premier are identified). The framework for this being focused on the broader branch and direct teams to ensure achievement of the business performance measures and plan (as defined by WPB).
Maintain HSBC internal control standards, implement and observe Group Compliance Policy and maintain awareness of operational risk and minimize the likelihood of it occurring.

If the result of 12-month program assessment is positive, the staff will be able to graduate from the program and be considered as Premier Relationship Officer.
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Strong communication, client focus and influencing skills
- Good knowledge of HSBC and WPB
- Team player with collaborative skills
- Knowledge of local and Group compliance regulations
- Attain appropriate professional and regulatory qualifications as required by market
- Attain any internal standards as required by HBCN
