About Monash Health Digital Health Training and Adoption

Monash Health is Victoria’s largest public health service. We provide safe, high-quality care to one-quarter of Melbourne’s population, across the entire lifespan, from pre-birth to end-of-life. We have over 18,000 employees working in our 7 hospitals and community facilities. Our electronic medical record (EMR) system was implemented across inpatient services in 2019. The Victorian Heart Hospital features an expansion of our EMR and the integration of supporting digital systems.

The Digital Health Training and Adoption, Digital Pathology and the Contact Centre portfolios support clinical and non-clinical electronic systems and equipment including implementation and training of systems including the Electronic Medical Record (EMR), pathology information systems, and telephony systems to offer state of the art services. Training and adoption activities provide training to all new employees using the EMR and support ongoing adoption of new and existing digital systems. We work closely with our stakeholders to deliver online training, webinars, user guides for our digital systems.

About the Role

If you are an experienced administrative assistant with personal assistant experience looking for a role with variety, this could be the role you are looking for. We are seeking a full-time personal assistance and administrative lead to the Director of Digital Health Training and Adoption/Acting Director of Digital Pathology and the Contact Centre. This role is responsible for providing personal assistant duties to the Director as well as admin support for Training and Adoption activities. Duties included managing diaries, meetings and minutes, scheduling, training access, and report maintenance. This role is also responsible for managing emails, queries, bookings, communication, data collation, equipment management, files, account provisioning, and supporting implementations of new and upgraded digital systems.

The successful candidate will engage with members of the Digital Health Training and Adoption Team, Digital Pathology, Contact Centre, EMR and Informatics, Technology Business Services Level 1 Service Desk team, Digital Health PMO, and the broader Digital Health Division.

About You

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate sound interpersonal, communication, and organisation skills. Your approach to work is characterised as engaging, supportive, relevant, effective, and timely. Success in the role sees you providing a high level of support and service provision as a key member of the Training and Adoption team. You have excellent administrative, issue management, follow-up, and escalation skills. You have strong computer skills and demonstrate agility across relevant computers programs and applications including Microsoft 365, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point, Sharepoint, OneNote, and MS Teams.

This role can be carried out in-office with the option of allocated working from home following Monash Health guidelines.
